Sahsa Dobies is the chief member and photographer of Sherbet Birdie. Sherbet Birdie is a photography studio that specializes in vintage, pinup photography, and takes 1940’s glamour and 50’s retro style portraits for clients. The team works together to produce the sophisticated vintage photos from their cosy studio in Sydney Australia. During each shoot the team of makeup artists, stylists, and photographers work together to transform the client into a fabulous pin up queen!
Before joining the Sherbet Birdie team, Sasha Dobies had experience working with magazines, and knew how much direction, pampering, and styling was provided to the celebrities during their photoshoots. After hearing her friends comparing themselves the the gorgeous goddesses on the magazine covers, Dobies wanted to make it possible for any woman to get treated with the same luxury as the celebrities. The Sherbet Birdie experience is that of pampering and fun, which shows through the photographs. The images are celebrations of women in a retro, decadent, pin up style.
